I’m Nichole. I’m a Salesforce Certified Administrator.

I didn’t start out that way.

I started as a residential real estate appraiser in Las Vegas, NV. For over 25 years, I owned and operated a residential real estate appraisal company that served large mortgage lenders like Bank of America, Chase Bank and Wells Fargo.

I worked from home (perfect for self-motivated introverts) with flexible hours, a bountiful paycheck, AND I got to look at beautiful houses.

Day-in, day-out. For 25 years. I loved it.

But the appraisal business changed and even though my passion for real estate and number crunching stayed strong, my love for the business faded. I was yearning for something new and challenging.

Then one day, listening to the ChooseFI podcast, I heard Brad Rice and Anita Smith talking about Salesforce. It sounded too good to be true.

Was this for real? Is Salesforce an MLM? Did I have to sell stuff? I needed to find out!

I logged into Trailhead, did a couple of those module thingies and I was hooked!

I had found what I was looking for.

A spark was ignited and I fell in ❤ with this new career.

Since then, I can’t get enough. Working in a Salesforce org combines all of my passions: problem-solving, system-building, analyzing data and constant learning.

It’s also oddly satisfying to organize ALL. THAT. DATA.

Obscure Talents:

  • Excellent chocolate sheet cake maker
  • Mediocre scuba diver
  • Very poor shower singer

  • Writers – Seth Godin, JL Collins, Malcolm Gladwell, Simon Sinek
  • TV Shows – Real Housewives while exercising (all that drama makes me forget I’m exercising), The Last of Us, Succession
  • Movies – The Holiday, Something’s Gotta Give, It’s Complicated, The World According to Garp (also an excellent book!)

Hobbies:

  • Travel – I’ve been to England, France, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Currently planning a trip to Italy for 2023 🤞
  • Reading – I typically read about 50 books per year. Mostly I read about Financial Independence (FI) and Real Estate Investing (I’ve been an investor for 15 years).
  • Earning Salesforce Certifications – Currently studying for Platform App Builder.
